Bone & Joint Diseases
All The Things You Thought Homoeopathy Couldn’t Treat.
Arthritis/Gout
Arthritis is a condition in which one or more joints enlarge and become tender. Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis are the two most frequent kinds of arthritis. Gout is a kind of inflammatory arthritis which affects the big toe, knee, ankle, foot, hand, wrist, and elbow.
Ganglion
Ganglion cysts are benign lumps that often form near the tendons or joints of the wrists, hands, ankles and feet. The cysts are spherical or oval in shape and filled with a jellylike fluid. Surgical removal of the ganglion is a possibility, but in most cases the cysts go away on their own.
Back pain & Sciatica
Sciatica is a type of pain that starts along your sciatic nerve which is the primary nerve in the leg and also the biggest. This nerve runs down the back of your thigh from the back of your pelvis.
Sjögren's Syndrome
Sjögren’s syndrome, also known as Sjögren’s and Sjögren’s disease, is a chronic (long-lasting) autoimmune disorder that happens when the immune system attacks the glands that make moisture in the eyes, mouth, and other parts of the body. The main symptoms are dry eyes and mouth, but other parts of the body may be affected as well, with many people reporting fatigue and joint and muscle pain. In addition, the disease can damage the lungs, kidneys, and nervous system. Sjögren’s syndrome predominantly affects women.
Calcaneal Spur / Heel Pain
A calcaneal spur, or commonly known as a heel spur, occurs when a bony outgrowth forms on the heel bone. Calcaneal spurs can be located at the back of the heel (dorsal heel spur) or under the sole (plantar heel spur). The dorsal spurs are often associated with achilles Tendinopathy, while spurs under the sole are associated with Plantar fasciitis.
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
The carpal tunnel is a narrow passageway surrounded by bones and ligaments on the palm side of the hand. When the median nerve is compressed, symptoms can include numbness, tingling and weakness in the thumb and fingers.
Tennis Elbow
Tennis elbow, also known as lateral epicondylitis, is a condition that can result from overuse of the muscles and tendons in the elbow. Tennis elbow is often linked to repeated motions of the wrist and arm. Despite its name, most people who get tennis elbow don’t play tennis.
Varicose Veins
Varicose veins, or varicosities, are swollen, twisted veins that lie just under the skin. They usually occur in the legs. Sometimes varicose veins form in other parts of the body. Hemorrhoids , for example, are a type of varicose vein that develops in the rectum.
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic (long-lasting) autoimmune disease that mostly affects joints. RA occurs when the immune system, which normally helps protect the body from infection and disease, attacks its own tissues. The disease causes pain, swelling, stiffness, and loss of function in joints.
Spondylitis
Cervical Spondylitis
Cervical spondylosis is a broad term describing age-related wear and tear in the cervical spine (neck). This ailment is also known as arthritis or osteoarthritis of the neck.
Lumbar Spondylitis
Lumbar spondylosis is an age-related degeneration of the vertebrae and disks of the lower back. These changes are often called degenerative disk disease and osteoarthritis. The common condition is marked by the breakdown of one or more of the disks that separate the bones of the spine.
